What's Driving The Decline in Georgia's Insurance Market?

Georgia was named the #1 Most Challenging Legal Climate in the Nation in 2022. This was a direct result of the concerning number of nuclear verdicts and lobbying efforts made by trial attorneys

Georgia residents pay a “tort tax” of $1,111.28 per person and 117,809 jobs are lost each year, according to a recent study by The Perryman Group

If Georgia enacted specific reforms targeting lawsuit abuse, the state would increase its gross product by an estimation of $11.9 billion

Trial Attorneys represent the largest special interest group in Georgia, spending over $4.7 million influencing legislators during the last election cycle

Between 2017 and 2021 Georgia Trial Attorneys spent $391 million on over 4.4 million advertisements in Georgia
