May 6, 2025

We’re proud to announce that Andy Siegel, President of Siegel Insurance in Atlanta, has been elected to serve on the IIABA National Executive Committee. This is a tremendous honor not only for Andy, but for the entire independent agency community in Georgia.

Andy has spent nearly four decades leading in the insurance industry. A proud graduate of the University of Georgia (BBA in Risk Management and Insurance) and The College of Insurance in New York (MBA in Insurance), Andy stepped into the family business in 1985 and has been guiding Siegel Insurance with purpose and passion ever since.

Throughout his career, Andy has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the independent agency channel. He has served in numerous leadership roles within IIAG, including Chair of the Technology and Personal Lines Committees, and served as IIAG President in 2015–2016. His forward-thinking approach and steady leadership have helped shape the direction of the organization and strengthen its service to members.

At the national level, Andy has continued to make an impact. Since 2022, he has served as IIABA National Director and currently chairs the IIABA Best Practices Committee. His focus has always been on supporting agents, advocating for their needs, and helping them grow stronger businesses. His peers describe him as thoughtful, knowledgeable, and a passionate advocate for agents—someone who blends industry expertise with a collaborative spirit.

The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA)—often referred to as the Big “I”—is the national organization representing independent agents across the country. It is also IIAG’s national affiliate, meaning all IIAG members are also members of the Big “I” and have access to its full suite of resources, advocacy, and support. The organization is led by a national board and a seven-member executive committee, which includes one elected agent chairperson.

Andy’s election to the National Executive Committee is a testament to his dedication to the profession and his vision for its future. We’re incredibly proud to see Georgia represented by such a strong leader and look forward to the positive impact he’ll continue to make nationwide.

IIAG is the unrelenting advocate for Independent Insurance Agents in the state of Georgia, representing over 500 member agencies.
