Jarrett Bridges Elected IIAG President

Jarrett Bridges was sworn in as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia (IIAG) on June 7, 2025. Bridges is a Managing Director at the Turner & Associates branch of Higginbotham Insurance in Brunswick, GA. Bridges joined Turner & Associates in 2004 and began his career in commercial insurance and risk management solutions. His areas of expertise include property/casualty insurance design, total cost of risk analysis, risk reduction strategies, risk placement, program implementation, program marketing, metric reviews, and risk transfer. His industry specialties include heavy construction, contractors, trenchless sewer/rehab specialists, distributors, manufacturers, and wholesalers.
Prior to his role as IIAG President, Mr. Bridges served as the association’s Chairman of the Board, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer, InsurPAC Committee Chair, and Young Agent Committee Chair.
“Jarrett Bridges is a community-centered leader who is a strong advocate for policies that benefit Georgia insurance consumers. Jarrett’s client-centric approach will be an asset to our industry as he serves as the President of Georgia’s largest agents association,” said John Barbour, IIAG CEO.
Bridges has strong ties to Georgia’s Golden Isles Community and serves on the leadership team for St. Simons Community Church, coaches community baseball, is a former Co-Chair of Leadership Glynn, and is an active supporter of Glynn Academy Athletics.
He graduated from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration. He was a part of the Blazer baseball team from 1996-2000 and was a graduate assistant baseball coach there from 2000-2001. Bridges has been married to the love of his life, Courtney, for 20 years, and they have two children, Finley (16) and Breaker (14).
