Moore has strong ties to the Augusta community where he is a founding member of Kingdom Here Ministries, a Board of Directors member for the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce, including serving as Chairman in 2018, a Kiwanis Board of Directors member, and a graduate of Leadership Columbia County Class of 2011, where he was named Alumni of the Year in 2023.
He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a degree in Risk Management and remains passionate about UGA athletics. Moore has been married to the love of his life, Kristen, for 22 years, and they have two children, Addison (17) and Brooke (15).
